Tutorial, Integrating Systems Engineering with Earned Value Management
EVM training at Organizational Effectiveness Institute (OEI), June 28-29, 2010, Washington, DC 2-day course: Earned Value Management; Principles, Processes & Evolving Federal Acquisition Reforms featuring PBEV
EVM training is available that covers the fundamentals of EVM and also demonstrates how to link technical performance, or Quality, with EV using PBEV. DOD customers and suppliers will learn how to implement latest Defense Acquisition Guide (DAG) revisions and WSARA Report DoD EVM Implementation recommendations to link EV with the technical baselines and technical performance measures (TPM).
You will actively participate in frequent class exercises (both individually and as part of a CAM team). The class is full of practical examples and case studies. You will take home useful templates, and tips and will use and keep a copy of my book, Performance-Based Earned Value.® This is also the only EVM course that also covers software or IT development, as described in the DOD Software Tech News, CrossTalk, the NAVAIR SW EV Toolkit, and CMMI publications (available at Advanced EV:PBEV tab).
